I love them so much. Don't Mom's dishes look beautiful?

Michelle and Keegan sharing some juice.

Brad and all of his girls, aren't they beautiful?

Aunt Laura and Corey loving some breakfast.

Loving some Laura time.

We have the most awesome aunts. Love you, Mel!!!

Was Melanie getting ready to unload or bracing for impact?

Corey is on the prowl, looking for his next victim!!

Raegan and Bailey absolutely LOVED riding in the sleigh. Key word is riding, getting out was a different story. Kids make Christmas a wonderful time.

Frosty has to be the best horse ever. Dad was so kind to go through all the trouble of cleaning up the sleigh and harnessing Frosty. Words can't express my gratitude. This is truly the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!!

Bentley, Patrick and Melanie were better prepared for the elements than any of us. They also dominated when it came to the snowball fight. Love them so much!!!

I am thinking this would make a great Christmas card!!!

Maddie, Briley and Paityn made more than one lap in the one horse, open sleigh.

Not driving Miss Daisy but driving Miss Maddie!!!
This Christmas was special in so many ways but the blanket of snow that God provided made it SO SPECIAL. We gathered at Mom and Dad's on Christmas morning for breakfast as usual, but we had no idea what was in store. The house was filled delicious aromas as we got ready for breakfast. Mom had taken such care in making sure that the decorations were just right and everything was beautiful. After breakfast came time for gifts for the kids and adults. I must say the dirty Santa for the adults was a time of fun for all, especially me( I got to steal something that I loved). Then came the real excitement. Dad was so gracious and kind to get the sleigh out, clean it up and harness Frosty. The kids were so excited. Of course, I think some of us adults were just as, if not more excited than the kids. How often in your life do you get to experience a moment out of a song, a true one horse, open sleigh? While we waited our turn on the sleigh, it was only fitting that a snowball fight break out. Laura, Melanie, Patrick, Bentley, Corey and Maddie had a free-for-all with snowballs. It was an awesome snow to sleigh in or throw. It packed great and produced some stingers for snowballs. When it was all said and done, everyone was ecstatic and the morning was joyful. Thank you Lord for providing this spontaneous moment for our family. Hoping you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and hoping that the New Year is full of peace and blessings.
